Salon Policies.
I am honored to provide you with the highest quality of beauty services. I am committed to providing you with a relaxing atmosphere. The following Salon Policies are intended to enhance everyone’s experience.
Appointments
I recommend that you take the time to prebook your next appointment(s) before leaving the salon in an effort to reserve the date and time that best fits your schedule.
If appointments aren’t available during your desired date and time I can add you to my wait list and in the event of a cancellation, you will be contacted by phone, email or text.
Confirmations, Late Arrivals, Cancellations and No Shows
I will email and/or text you to confirm your service appointment(s) two business days prior to your appointment date. However, if I am unable to reach you due to disconnected services or a full mailbox please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and a no show fee.
I understand that sometimes being late is unavoidable. If you are running a few minutes behind, please contact me and I can hold your appointment for up to 15 minutes. After 15 minutes I reserve the right to cancel your appointment and enforce my Cancellation Policy. If arriving 15 minutes late, you will be charged in full for the scheduled session, but will receive an abbreviated, prorated session. For example, if you scheduled an appointment and it takes a full hour and you arrive 15 minutes late, you will be charged for the full service but will only receive a 45-minute service.
Please understand when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on my wait list miss the opportunity to receive services. My appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because I know how easy it is to forget an appointment booked months in advance. Because services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation/no show fee will apply. I will be asking for a debit or credit card to be kept on file after there is a last minute cancellation or no call/no show prior to being able to book any future appointment.
o Less than 24 hours notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
o Appointments made within the 24-hour period and need to cancel, the client then must cancel within 4 hours of appointment time or will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved amount.
o NO CALL/ NO SHOWS will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.
Deposits
I reserve the right to require a deposit equal to 50% of the reserved service amount if late cancellations or no call/no shows happen more than once.
To cancel or reschedule an appointment made after you’ve paid a deposit, you must contact me no less than 24 hours before your initial appointment time. I require a 50% deposit for appointments of 3 hours or more. Deposits can be made via cash or via credit card in person or over the phone. The amount of the deposit will be applied toward the service total of the appointment(s) booked. All deposits are non refundable and must be used within 2 months.
Service Guarantee
I proudly stand behind my work. If you are not entirely satisfied with your service please let me know at the time of your service or within 72 hours after your service.
Service Adjustments & Refunds
I do not offer monetary refunds on services rendered, but will be more than happy to schedule a complimentary service to help rectify the situation. An adjustment service is for those times when the hair needs just a bit more refinement in either the cut or color. You have 72 hours from the initial service date to contact me so we can get you scheduled for your adjustment service.
I do offer an exchange on any opened or unopened retail product within 14 days of purchase. I will suggest an alternative product to meet your needs and the value of the product you are returning will be applied towards the new product. Cash or credit back for returned retail products is not an option. Retail returns cannot be used as a service credit.
Children
I work in a family friendly salon, however the waiting area is cozy and will only accommodate a few people. Please limit the number of people who are waiting with you during your appointment. All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, if a child under the age of 18 is receiving a chemical service a consent form must be signed prior to the service is performed. My children’s menu is for children under the age of 10. Children over the age of 10 are charged for full price services.
For Your Protection
I am not responsible for any lost or stolen items on salon property or from the parking lot. When receiving any chemical services I provide a cape for the protection of your clothing.
Products
I do accept returns for in salon credit.
Allergies, Medication, Medical Conditions
I kindly ask that you notify me of any allergies you may have including, but not limited to, nuts, oils, plants etc. due to my color line being naturally derived and can cause an allergic reaction. Medications can cause resistance towards your color taking evenly.
Cell Phone
I understand we all have busy lives, but during your consultation for your service I would like for you to be off your phone so we can have a clear understanding on your service. After our consultation you are more than welcome to continue with your call.
Methods of Payment
I accept cash, Visa, Master Card, Discover Card, American Express, Cash App, Venmo, ApplePay and Gift Certificates. When using a gift certificate it may not be redeemable for cash. If a gift certificate is lost or stolen it cannot be refunded. NO CHECKS PLEASE.
Confidentiality and Privacy Policy
I believe that every guest has the right to privacy and confidentiality. The conversations you have with me will remain confidential. Your phone number, address, email, and credit card information will not be shared with any third party.
*As noted above these polices are in place to enhance your overall salon experience. Extenuating circumstances may result in exceptions to these polices outlined above. If an extenuating circumstance does occur, please let me know and we will work it out. I understand life happens and we do not have control of that, I am flexible in working with you.
