FAQ

What products do you use?

I use a few different product brands based on the unique needs of your hair. I use KEVIN.MURPHY, Redkin, Pureology, & Amika.

What is the difference between grey coverage & grey blending?

Grey coverage is when 100% of the grey is colored and covered with permanent hair color. Can be colored roots to ends or just the roots for maintenance every 4-6 weeks. Ideal for those who do not want to see any grey.

Grey blending is when either a semi-permanent or demi-permanent is used from roots to ends or just the roots to blend the grey that is currently there. It is not 100% covered and some grey will still be visable. Can also be done as a lowlight with foils. Maintenance is anywhere from 8-16 weeks. Ideal for those who are fine with seeing their grey, but want it to look a little more subtle. Also ideal for those wanting to embrace the grey and want to transition out of hair color.

Is a haircut or trim the same price?

Yes, whether it is a total change or a maintenance trim, the price and experience is the same. I approach both with the goal of you leaving feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Do you “double chair” your hair appointments?

Double chair refers to when 2 clients are seen at the same time with the same stylist.

I do not double chair with my clients. I believe the time you book for your hair is YOU time. I do not want you to feel rushed, pushed aside, or neglected. The space I have created for you is the opposite of that.

I sometimes will make exceptions if it is with clients who are related. (ie. mother/daughter, sister/sister, friend/friend, etc.) This is more for those who don’t mind sharing an appointment with their loved one and want it to be their experience together.
